texas history books change
What do you think about Texas changing the history in the history books?

Why do you think they were going to take out Thurgood Marshall and Cesar Chavez?. I am curious I live in Texans and think it’s crazy, and was just curious what other Texans thought or people outside of Texas. Curious to know : )

History taught in many classrooms is already heavily and wrongly biased depending on how politically correct the school district wants to be. This is evident from the way some questions in YA History are asked by contributors.
example is one about how did the US cause the Cold War. This reveals the asker was influenced by some poor information.
I strongly urge everyone to think things out for themselves. In class you can answer the questions the way the teachers want it answered just to pass their courses. When you graduate forget the crap. In real life seek your own answers from many sources, evaluate the answers and if you need help get it from those with no hidden agenda.
Thinking for yourself is not a prominent part of the US classroom scene and has not been for many years unless you have had a memorable teacher that believed the students and truth came first.
